Now, starting with the Long Division Method, we first take into account the dividend which is Smaller than the divisor. Therefore, we will multiply it by 10 to make it big enough and solve the Division. But this also adds the Decimal Point in the quotient of our division.

To solve the division, we find the Multiple of the divisor, which is closest to the dividend and subtracts it from the dividend. This Subtraction then leads to the production of the Remainder, which later becomes the new dividend.

So, we check out the dividend, which is not becoming 10 once we multiply it by ten. We now solve for 10/50:

10 $\div$ 50 $\approx$ 0

Where:

 50 x 0 = 0

This leads to the generation of a remainder equal to 10 – 0 = 10, now we take this remainder and transform it into the new dividend. This is done by multiplying it again by ten, given it is still smaller than 50. So, we solve 100/50 down here:

100 $\div$ 50 = 2

Where:

50 x = 100

Thus, we have a solution with no remainder, which means the dividend is the multiple of the divisor. Now, we compile the Quotient together to express it as a final answer. We started with multiplication by ten from the get-go, because it was smaller than the divisor, this means the whole number is 0.
